Born in San Jose, I have lived my entire life in Santa Clara County. I attended Saint Christopher's School and graduated from Willow Glen High. I graduated Cum Laude from San Jose State University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 1995.
After working in the high tech environment of Cisco Systems and Boeing, I shared my technology expertise by becoming the Technology Coordinator and computer teacher at local private elementary schools. I established the technology program in two schools and have become a mentor to other private schools in the formation of their tech programs. I organized the district's technology training for about 600 teachers. In addition to organizing the event, I conducted workshops on Education and the Internet.
I am very active in my community. As a teen, I ran the popcorn booth at the Youth Science Institute's Haunted Woods. After a few years, I took over all food concessions. At my church's annual festival, I have run the Calamari, BBQ chicken, and Edible Sand Art booths. In 1998 and 1999, I took the important role as festival chairperson.
As a parent, I am involved in my children's activities as a Girl Scout leader, Cub Scout den leader, team parent, and summer camp coordinator. In addition, I have volunteered in numerous roles including cookie and nut sales coordinator, treasurer, and first aid station.
My personal and business life exhibits my leadership ability and commitment to quality. I have excelled in all my endeavors and I continually strive to achieve personal excellence.
