Cambrian homes are located in the formerly unincorporated area of San Jose called Cambrian Park or Cambrian Village. Most of the homes became part of San Jose with a few neighborhoods remaining unincorporated to this day.

Cambrian is bordered by the following areas: Los Gatos on the southwest, Campbell on the northwest, Willow Glen on the northeast, and Almaden Valley on the southeast.
